CENS High School Scholars Poster Symposium

Abstract

The students at Central High conducted two research projects with the support of graduate student volunteers through the academic year. The research projects focused on water quality in the Ballona Wetlands and the impact of pollutants on Mar Vista and environmental citizenship, led by Christine Lee and Victor Vasquez. These high school scholars will present the findings of their research on water quality at the Ballona Creek and the Ballona Wetlands as well as their research on neighborhood pollutants and environmental citizenship. This event is sponsored by the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering & Applied Science. Lunch will be served.
