Abstract

We describe the performance of Wisden -a wireless multi-hop sensor network based data acquisition system for structural health monitoring (SHM) applications. We have deployed Wisden in two real environments: a seismic test structure and the Four Seasons building. We examine several aspects such as reliability, latency and data integrity of Wisden, and validate its performance using data obtained from a wired data acquisition system.
