- Life after STC Funding goes away:
- Balancing the goals, policies and procedures of the NSF in regards to STCs while still planning to become self-sufficient after NSF funding is completed
- Program Income Discussion – NSF guidelines on carrying program-related income forward beyond the program period
- What other opportunities are available at NSF for STCs after the STC funds expire?
- What sorts of funding sources have previous Centers found for their Education components after their STC funding went away?

- Discussion on Centers who successfully went through the transition from STC funding to other sources of funding?
- Sources of funding to continue and grow "Center" activities such as Intern Programs, Summer Schools, Workshops, and Retreats. Information from both the NSF and from previous Centers on how they have gone about finding funds for collaborative activities.

Driving directions to conference site at Covel Commons:
From the 405 Freeway, take Sunset Boulevard eastbound to Bellagio Drive. Enter the UCLA campus by turning right on Bellagio Drive. Bellagio Drive dead-ends at a T-shaped intersection at De Neve Drive. Turn left on De Neve Drive and drive 3/10ths of a mile down the hill to Sunset Village, UCLA. There is a parking garage on your right at Sunset Village. Signs will be placed by the parking garage elevator doors to direct you to the auditorium.
